Mexican Delegation Gears Up for Paris 2024 Olympic Games with Over 60 Athletes

The delegation is made up of more than 60 athletes who will seek to win a medal from the summer fair

The start of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games is getting closer and closer, there are only 43 days left for athletes from 206 countries to compete for a place in the medal table, from July 26 to August 11.

For the summer fair in the French capital, Mexico already has 69 places secured for 27 different disciplines, however, not all the places obtained so far are assigned, since some are subject to selection by each of the federations. Therefore, even more athletes could be added to the list of selected Mexicans.

President Andrés Manuel López Obrador flagged the Mexican Olympic delegation on June 11 at the National Palace. Those in charge of carrying the national flag at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games are the diver Alejandra Orozco and the pentathlete Emiliano Hernández.

According to the Mexican Olympic Committee portal, at the moment, the athletes who in just over a month will be in Paris 2024 are:
