Michoacán Shines at 2024 Conade Nationals with 105 Medals

Guadalajara, Jalisco, June 30, 2024.- Michoacán continues with a great plan in the 2024 Conade Nationals, now adding two silver medals through karate and canoeing, as well as two bronze medals through sport climbing and badminton, giving it a total of 105 medals so far.

In Mexico City, canoeing came to a close with a silver medal for Miguel Ángel Camilo Quirino in the C1 500-meter event in the 19-23 age category. In karate, Alberto Velasco Márquez took silver in kumite +84 kilograms in Guadalajara, Jalisco.

In the same Perla Tapatia, sport climbing awarded a bronze medal to Luis Fernando Morales Conde, in the General Block modality, Youth A category.

In Campeche, sub-headquarters of the largest festival of amateur sports in our country, the participation of the state delegation was terminated, with the closure of the badminton matches; Michoacán won bronze in the U-17 doubles, made up of Uziel Barrera and Fabio Mora, after losing in the semifinals against Jalisco.

In Michoacán’s best participation in the Conade 2024 Nationals, 105 metals are momentarily recorded in the medal table, broken down into 29 gold, 29 silver and 47 bronze. The activities will continue in Jalisco, with table tennis and water polo in its women’s branch.
