Competing in the FIBA 2025 European Championship Qualifiers, the National Men’s Basketball Team started its training at Beşiktaş Akatlar Culture and Sports Complex under the management of Head Coach Ergin Ataman.
The training of the stars and crescents was followed by Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF) President Hidayet Türkoğlu and former TBF President Harun Erdenay in the hall.
Work will end on July 6-7
The National Team, which will practice in Istanbul until July 1, will face the Philippines in a friendly match on Thursday, June 27.
The crescent-star team will go to France to play a bilateral contact match on July 2, and finally they will end their camp training by participating in the preparation tournament in Serbia on July 6-7.
Nationals’ program
The National Men’s Basketball Team will face Hungary at home on 22 November 2024 and away against Hungary on 25 November 2024 within the scope of the FIBA 2025 European Championship Qualifiers.
In their last match in Group B, the Crescent-Stars will play Italy at home on February 20, 2025, and Iceland away on February 23, 2025.
