The national time trial championships were held in Belgium today. The titles ultimately went to Lotte Kopecky and Tim Wellens. But of course the clock was not only raced in our country.
After all, that was also the case abroad. In Italy, Great Britain and Switzerland there were no surprises at all when it came to men. Joshua Tarling, Filippo Ganna and Stefan KΓΌng lived up to their role as favorites and extended their title.

Then the tension in the Netherlands and Norway was much greater. Daan Hoole extended his title with our northern neighbors, but had barely 1 second (!) to spare against Mick van Dijke of Visma-Lease a Bike.

Also in Norway the difference was barely 1 second. Soren Waerenskjold seems to be in excellent condition because after a final victory in the Tour of Belgium, he has now also extended his title as Norway’s best time trialist. Tobias Foss β former world champion β was just over 60 milliseconds short. In France the difference was slightly bigger, but with three seconds Bruno Armirail did not have too much of an advantage over KΓ©vin Vauquelin.
