NBA: after Wembanyama, another Frenchman promised to number 1 in the Draft

Seventy-nine players dream of a multimillionaire future in the NBA. These young people in their twenties, from 16 countries, are presenting themselves at the NBA Draft in New York, on the night of Wednesday to Thursday (at 2 o’clock on BeIN Sports). Behind the United States, France presents the largest delegation of candidates. Quantity rhymes with quality, this ceremony, one year after the Victor Wembanyama madness, will be historic again for French sport.

A Frenchie, from Bourg-en-Bresse (Ain), is announced as the number 1 choice: Zaccharie Risacher. The NBA invited two other French people to the green room, the floor at the foot of the stage reserved for “prospects” (hopefuls) promised to the Top 10: Alexandre Sarr, who went into exile in Australia, and Tidjane Salaün, who arrived from Cholet (Maine-et-Loire).
