While the NBA Finals are being played between Boston and Dallas, the NBA stars have recently moved to Lake Como to celebrate Rajon Rondo’s wedding. The former point guard, who officially retired just a few weeks ago, celebrated his union with his girlfriend yesterday at Villa Balbiano. Obviously among the guests there were many stars and stripes basketball stars, former teammates and friends of Rondo. Among the guests were James Harden, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Kyle Kuzma, Troy Daniels (also ex Milan), Dwight Howard and, according to the Province of Como, even LeBron James.
It is nothing new for American stars to come on holiday to Italy, and Lake Como is certainly a destination that has a certain charm. However, it is rare for all these champions to meet together in the same place and LeBron’s presumed presence in Como will certainly attract many fans and curious people. As reported by the local newspaper, Rondo’s friends and relatives are staying at Grand Hotel Victorialuxurious 5-star hotel overlooking the lake.
Small note of color: a video was published of the throwing of the bouquet which was caught by Harden’s girlfriend. As is known, according to tradition, it is believed that whoever takes the bouquet first will also be the next to get married. Harden’s reaction was hilarious.
