This Friday (21), Netherlands e France meet to measure strength and compete in the strongest clash in group D of the Euro 2024. Both teams won their debut games and are directly competing for the top of the group.
In retrospect, there were 30 official matches, with 15 wins for France, 11 for the Netherlands and four draws. The last time the two faced each other was in October 2023, in the Euro qualifiers, and the French team came out on top, winning 2-1, with both goals scored by Kylian Mbappé.
The France star, however, will not be on the field this Friday. The star suffered a broken nose in the opening match of the European Championship and will be missing for the Blues. The medical department has not yet announced how long Mbappé will take to return to the field, but has not ruled out the star returning to the competition.
