An afternoon of basketball is scheduled for Saturday 15 June at the Coni Benevento at 6.00 pm. On this occasion the teams and the pitch will not be the protagonists but there will be a conference entitled: Author, regulation and technicians compared. On this occasion, the new manual adopted by the Italian Basketball Federation will be presented to Benevento basketball. Two volumes, both closely interconnected to the world of basketball. One for indoor basketball, the other for the 3×3 front, both of which are the result of the work of Davide Galieri from Benevento, basketball whistleblower in interregional B and women’s B for Fip Molise, as well as regional youth trainer whistles.
The indoor work consists of 336 pages and 655 illustrations with eight chapters and an appendix. The one on street basketball has 180 pages with eight chapters and an appendix and over four hundred illustrations, summaries and infographics. Both works, in addition to the rules, also contain Fiba interpretations. The volumes published by Iuorio editore will undergo a further official presentation which will also be a sort of technical meeting to involve all the components of the discipline: i.e. referees, officials, coaches, professionals and simple enthusiasts. The afternoon will be moderated by the Meritorious UDC Angela Vitale and at the table there will be the author Davide Galieri and the publisher Antonello Iuorio, the president of the FIP Campania Antonio Caliendo and the Benevento delegate Marco Mirra, also speaking live and remotely technical protagonists of the world of segmented ball both at regional and national/international levels. All enthusiasts are invited to participate.
