The New York Knicks have confirmed that they will not extend the $6.25 million qualifying offer to center Precious Achiuwa, who will become an unrestricted free agent on July 1, the Knicks reported. HoopsHype.com.
Achiuwa, who had a strong final stretch of the season with the Knicks, will be free to negotiate with any NBA franchise, although his possible return to the team led by Tom Thibodeau is not ruled out.
