MAZATLÁN._ Based at the Teodoro Mariscal stadium and just over 100 teams, the ninth edition of the Mazatlán Baseball Tournament-Venados 2024 was inaugurated.
The “King of Sports” competition will be held at the port until Sunday, June 30.
The opening event began with the traditional honoring of the flag and immediately began with the presentation of the personalities of the table of honor.
Miguel Noris, director of Copa Mazatlán; Fernando Hernández Rubio, president of the Sinaloa Baseball Association; Rodolfo del Valle, sports director of Mazatlán Baseball; as well as Luis Cornejo, High Commissioner, and Héctor Francisco Duarte, sales manager of Venados de Mazatlán, were prominent at the ceremony.
Noris was in charge of welcoming those present, while Hernández Rubio also spoke to thank the more than one hundred teams in attendance for their participation.
The player Leonardo Salazar, from Chihuahua, took the obligatory protest.
Once again Hernández Rubio participated in the formal ceremony by having the distinction of throwing the first pitch.
Later, the parade of the registered novenas came along the baseball building.
Actions
This Thursday, June 27, the actions of the meetings will take place in the different stages of the town.
