Novak Djokovic Rises to 2nd Place in ATP Rankings despite Injury

Despite being injured, the Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic was the great beneficiary of the new ATP ranking as he rose one place and placed second, ahead of Carlos Alcaraz, who placed third.

The number 1 position remains firm for the Italian Jannick Sinner, who established himself in the Halle tournament and showed that he is having an excellent professional moment.

One week before the start of Wimbledon, the prospects are good for Sinner, who will defend fewer points than his rivals there. The world number one will only defend 720, compared to Alcaraz’s 2,000 and Djokovic’s 1,200, so it is estimated that he will remain at the top for a couple more weeks.
