Novak Djokovic has had a number of training partners throughout this week at Wimbledon, where he has been testing himself a few weeks after his meniscus surgery. One of them, world number 1 Jannik Sinner, gave his thoughts to theATP.
“It was difficult to gauge his level because we only spent 45 minutes playing points. But he is certainly one of the greatest to have played on this court. So it was a huge privilege and an honour for me to train with him.”
As a reminder, Nole will face Vit Kopriva (123rd) in the first round.
