Oklahoma City Thunder Acquire Guard Josh Giddey in Exchange for Chicago Bulls’ Alex Caruso

According to Adrian Wojnarowski from ESPN Oklahoma City Thunderguard Josh Giddey in return Chicago Bulls‘tan guard Alex CarusoHe agreed to add to his staff.

Giddey was selected by the Thunder with the 6th pick in the 2021 NBA Draft from Australia. The dynamic guard averaged 13.9 points, 7.3 rebounds and 5.7 assists in his first three seasons in the NBA.

Caruso spent the past three seasons with the Bulls and averaged 7.8 points, 3.4 assists, 3.4 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game. He was selected to the best defensive team in the 2022-23 season and the second best defensive team in the 2023-24 season.

Caruso, 30, went undrafted out of college and initially signed a training camp deal with the Thunder in 2016. Although he was released before the start of the season, he signed with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2017 and played there for four seasons and won a championship in 2020.
