ÖRV proposes Mitterwallner, Stigger, Foidl for MTB races

The Austrian Cycling Federation (ÖRV) has submitted its proposal for the Olympic mountain bike competitions to the Austrian Olympic Committee (ÖOC). According to the ÖRV’s ideas, Mona Mitterwallner, Laura Stigger and Maximilian Foidl are to represent Austria at the Games in Paris; as always, the final nomination rests with the ÖOC.

This will be Mitterwallner’s Olympic debut, while Stigger and Foidl were already part of the event in Tokyo in 2021. The mountain bike cross-country competitions, which have been part of the Olympics since 1996, will take place in Paris on July 28 (women) and July 29 (men).
