An unpleasant surprise from the Czech point of view at the Ostrava Beach Pro beach volleyball tournament. The Czech elite duo Ondřej Perušič and David Schweiner finish for the first time in the Vítkovice area under the blast furnaces in the round of 16. The home pair was not enough for the excellently playing Germans Nils Ehlers and Clemens Wickler in three sets 17:21, 21:15 and 11:15. Barbora Hermannová and Mariá-Sára Štochlova were the first to join the program and were not enough to become world number one.
