Paris La Défense Arena reveals the Olympic rings during an official ceremony

Paris La Défense Arena, which will host the Paris 2024 swimming, water polo and para swimming competitions this summer, revealed the emblematic Olympic rings on Wednesday June 5.

The ceremony took place in the presence of Christine Caron, Olympic swimming medalist at the Tokyo 1964 Games and first female flag bearer of the French delegation at the Mexico Games, Georges Siffredi, President of the Hauts-de-Seine Departmental Council , Patrick Jarry, Honorary Mayor of Nanterre, Frédérique Longupée, President of Paris La Défense Arena and Jacky Lorenzetti, President of the Ovalto Group.

Preparations to host the Games are progressing rapidly, with the completion of pool assembly scheduled for June 20, followed by the arrival of the Olympic flame on July 24, 2024. The competitions will begin on July 27 and end with the Paralympic events in September.

Nearly 30,000 spectators are expected per day at the heart of Paris La Défense Arena for a total of 178 swimming and water polo events.
