Pascal Siakam Set to Sign Nearly $200 Million Contract Extension with Indiana Pacers

Indiana Pacers star player Pascal Siakam will soon receive a nice haul, as he will sign a new contract worth nearly $200 million with his team, at the end of the moratorium imposed by the NBA.

According to journalist Adrian Wojnarowski of the ESPN network, the 30-year-old athlete will commit for four years and $189.5 million. However, he must wait until July 6 to initial the agreement, since the clubs in the Silver circuit cannot sign free agents until then.

A double invitee to the NBA All-Star Game, Siakam was acquired from the Toronto Raptors during the last campaign. With his new roster, he averaged 21.3 points and 7.3 rebounds per game, leading the Pacers to an appearance in the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Cameroonian enjoyed the championship with the Raptors in the spring of 2019. This year he completed a four-year, $136.9 million pact.
