“We have opened an investigation for manslaughter against unknown persons: in these matters, in order to proceed, responsibility must be of a type of omission, not of commission.” The Public Prosecutor of Udine, Massimo Lia, said this at a press conference on the story of the two girls who died due to the flood of the Natisone and the third boy who is still missing. «We will conduct all the necessary investigations – he added -, to ascertain whether the rescue was timely.
