Pecco Bagnaia wins the Assen GP and closes on Jorge Martin: Bastianini third, Marquez fourth

The crown is still of Pecco Bagnaia. The blue one with his Ducati he also wins the Assen GP and wins his third consecutive Grand Prix after Catalunya and Mugello. Another head-to-head win with the current number one of the MotoGP Jorge Martin who places second.

Third place for the other Italian Enea Bastianini, close to leaving Ducati, but still a protagonist after the second step of the podium in the last Italian Grand Prix. 4th Marquez, 5th Vinales, 6th Di Giannantonio. The cover, however, is entirely Pecco’s who dominates from start to finish, just as he did on Saturday in the Sprint, and he is getting closer and closer to Martin’s first place in the general classification. The Spaniard now only has a 10 point lead and the MotoGP World Championship is wide open like never before. Bagnaia equals Stoner among the riders who have achieved the most victories for Ducati: 23 each. Furthermore he becomes the first rider with 3 consecutive victories at Assen this century and the first since Mick Doohan.
