A total of 75 children will participate next week in the third edition of the Pedro Porro Campus, which will take place from June 26 to 30 at the Celestino Mera field of the Don Benito Sports City from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The objective of this activity, organized once again by Gimnástica Don Benito, is the enjoyment of the little ones and to offer them this experience with the participation of our most international footballer.
The footballer has expressed how grateful he is to enjoy this campus, and that the children get to know him and enjoy the sport. Porro has announced that in this edition he will be present during all the days to accompany the little ones and enjoy them throughout the week. His intention is to be able to expand the campus whenever his professional commitments allow it.
Trajectory
Pedro Porro started in gymnastics and in 2018 he debuted at Girona FC in the First Division and from there he made the jump to Manchester City to end up at Sporting Lisbon where he has won several titles. Currently, he is part of the ranks of Tottenham Hotspur FC. Furthermore, in 2021 he was called up by the Spanish National Team.
Despite all this, the Sports Councilor, Miguel Adámez, is grateful that “he does not forget his origins” so it is a “pride” to have him in the city.
