The Phoenix Suns’ G League affiliate, the Valley Suns, have selected former 2015 No. 3 Jahlil Okafor and former Denver Nuggets or New York Knicks player Emmanuel Mudiay in the 2024 expansion draft.
Okafor arrives from the Capitanes de Arrecibo of the Puerto Rico league after previously wearing the jerseys of the Zhejiang Lions of China and El Casademont Zaragoza of the ACB league.
The Duke-trained center has NBA career averages of 10.4 points and 4.7 rebounds in 247 official games played.
For his part, Mudiay, former number 7 in 2015, has also played the last year and a half in the Puerto Rico competition with the Cangrejeros de Santurce and the Piratas de Quebradillas.
In 302 regular season games he has figures of 10.9 points, 2.9 rebounds and 3.8 assists in 23.8 minutes per day.
