Police in Porto Sant’Elpidio Intervene to Stop Foreigners Armed with Weapons

The latest episode happened inside the Porto Sant’Elpidio carabinieri barracks where a 30-year-old Algerian, known to the police and suffering from psychiatric problems, showed up with a family member. Suddenly he took a switchblade and threatened to inflict injuries on himself for no apparent reason. Only thanks to the intervention of the military on duty was the man disarmed, avoiding serious consequences.
