Portugal beats Turkey at European Football Championship

Portugal won its second match in Group F against Turkey 3-0 (2-0) at the European Football Championship in Germany. The team of team manager Roberto Martinez, who also won their opening match against the Czech Republic 2-1, secured group victory early with six points. The goalscorers on Saturday in Dortmund were Bernardo Silva (21st), Samet Akaydin (28th/own goal) and Bruno Fernandes (55th).

After a dream pass to Cristiano Ronaldo, the superstar unselfishly set up Bruno Fernandes, who secured the final score of 3: (55th) against Turkey.

The Portuguese will face European Championship debutants Georgia in their last group match on Wednesday (9 p.m.), while Turkey will face the Czech Republic in the battle for second place. The Turks, currently in second place, have three points after two games, while the Czech Republic are in third place, level on points with bottom-placed Georgia (one point each).
