The stitchers arrived in Upper Austria on Monday, where they will spend nine days at the first camp at the Loxone Campus resort. Coach Jindřich Trpišovský did not only talk about the contents of the training session.

“It is the first camp that we have started with the players that have been available. Now it’s aimed at getting players to enter team mode after individual programs. There will be player testing and strength and running training. There is room for harder training, there is no match. A load in eight days will accomplish what is needed. Then there will be time for regeneration before the second training camp and the warm-up matches,” outlines the plan for the coming weeks Jindřich Trpišovský.

The destination of the campsite has changed, the usual Aigen has been replaced by the nearby Kollerschlag and the modern Loxone Campus resort.

“It’s the same place, but a slightly different hotel. It’s because of the playground, which is now two hundred meters from the hotel. The resort is brand new, for us and the guys who have been here for a long time, it’s a bit of a change of scenery,” says Trpišovský. “Everything here is modern. We have a short field and the terrain is of good quality,” he praises himself Ondřej Zmrzlý.

The squad at the training camp is largely made up of youngsters and returnees from loan spells. “It’s a mixture of players who stayed from last season and didn’t fulfill their national team duties. There are also players on loan, we are counting on some of them for the new season. For others, we will decide according to departures and arrivals. We count on them a lot in the future. They will gain experience with the environment and complete preparatory matches. There are also talented youngsters like Mikuláš Konečný or Dominik Pech, who were here a year ago and moved on again. Some players of the B-team, such as Jan Trédl, finished the season and will go with us to the second training camp, now they have time off,” explains the head coach of the stitched players.

Slávisté will return from the conditioning camp on June 25, followed by training units in Eden and a preparatory match in Roudnice nad Labem against Pardubice.
