After twenty years at the head of the Forez club, Roland Romeyer and Bernard Caïazzo sold ASSE to Kilmer Sports. Ivan Gazidis becomes president.

While players and supporters celebrate the rise to Ligue 1, AS Saint-Etienne has just been sold to Kilmer Sports, a company based in Toronto, Canada, specializing in investments in the world of sport and media. After twenty years at the head of ASSE, Bernard Caïazzo and Roland Romeyer cede their positions to Ivan Gazidis, new president of the Greens.

The South African, recognized in the world of football after notable stints at Arsenal and AC Milan, arrives with Huss Fahmy and Jaeson Rosenfeld, the executive vice-presidents in charge of football at Kilmer Sports and delivered his first words after his taking office: “ It is an honor and a great responsibility to take charge of a club with such a prestigious history and record today. I thank Roland Romeyer and Bernard Caïazzo for their unfailing commitment to serving the club for more than twenty years.
