PSG transfer window: OL player Rayan Cherki is leaving Paris… heading to Germany?

Rayan Cherki will certainly not sign for PSG. While discussions seemed to be on track a few hours ago, the 20-year-old international Espoirs midfielder should ultimately opt for another challenge. If nothing is completely decided, the Lyonnais is more tempted by a departure for Germany where Dortmund, who have been following him for a long time, have decided to accelerate to finalize his arrival.

If BVB is in the running today to host him, as announced Foot Market, another German club qualified for the Champions League would still be in ambush. The announcement of the player’s about-face surprised many people internally at PSG who, during the weekend, had reached an agreement with OL for a transfer worth around 15 million euros, apart from some bonuses to discuss.

One year from the end of his contract with Lyon, Rayan Cherki was seen as a great opportunity by Luis Campos, who really appreciates the player, but should move towards other avenues to strengthen the team.
