In addition to the practice that took place at the Rubén Rodríguez Coliseum in Bayamón this morning, this afternoon the team worked on a physical training session at the Liv Fitness gym in Condado, the Federation added in the statement.

The National Team saw action for the last time in an Olympics in the Athens 2004 edition. It qualified for that event in the Las Americas Pre-Olympic tournament at the Roberto Clemente Coliseum in San Juan in 2003.

In the Repechage, only the winner of the event punches his ticket to the Olympic Games.

The Women’s 5×5 Basketball Team has already qualified for Paris 2024. They will go to their second consecutive Olympics.
