While Rafael Nadal is getting in shape in Mallorca for the Olympic Games in Paris, there is news from the Spaniard’s business world: his Rafael Nadal Academy continues to grow worldwide. But few people expected the next location: Albania. Rafael Nadal and Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama confirmed this in a joint statement.

Edi Rama is quoted in the statement as saying: “There are many champions and great professionals in the world of sport, but there are not many champions of life and human values like Rafa. I think the value of this center will not only be in learning tennis or other sports, but also in helping children and young people understand the importance of being a professional and a good person.”

Padel courts are also planned in Albania

The complex will open in the coastal city of Durres and will follow the strict methodology and ethics of all the 22-time Grand Slam winner’s centers. The Rafa Nadal Sports Center in Albania will include 12 tennis courts, 6 padel courts, a multi-sports field, a gym and wellness, a swimming pool and a restaurant.

It will also have a shop and a museum where some of Rafa Nadal’s trophies and items from great athletes will be on display. Rafael Nadal’s life is definitely not boring. Not on the court and certainly not off the court.
