Record-breaking Year for Badminton Club Emblavez 43: Achieving Success on and off the Court

Friday June 21, the Badminton Club Emblavez 43 held its general meeting in Lavoûte-sur-Loire in the multipurpose room led by the duo of co-presidents Aurélie Liogier and Stéphane Souton. More than 30 players were there.

The co-presidents first took stock of the past year by listing the various events organized by the club: youth meetings, 10th edition of the Écoplume tournament, ecokids tournament, interclubs, bad themed evenings, etc.

Note that with 84 members for the 2023-2024 season, the BCE records a record never before reached: 50 girls for 34 men – 36 young people / 6 seniors and… 42 veterans (over 35 years old). My Rhône Alpes Auvergne league rewarded the BCE which is the club with the highest percentage of female licensees among the 200 clubs in the region.

The Interclub A team reaches the first division

On a sporting level, the good news is the accession of the Interclub A team to the 1st departmental division.

The prospects for the new season are to organize the 2025 edition of the Écoplume tournament (March 22/23) and to continue to offer training led by Angelo Do for children every Wednesday but also for adults who wish with Damien Loubiat .

Sessions specific to interclub teams could be set up on Sunday mornings at the rate of one per month.

Several people had resigned in the office. Thus Emilie Pages, Léo Liogier and Robin Gaudin, respectively secretary and vice-presidents, are no longer part of the board of directors. The new board will meet soon to elect the new office. Marjolaine Fournet Fayard joins the board of directors.
