Red Cross, ‘bombs near our headquarters in Gaza, 22 dead’

(ANSA) – ROME, JUNE 22 – “The office of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Gaza, surrounded by hundreds of displaced civilians living in tents, was damaged by large-caliber bullets that fell nearby”: immediately after the bombing “22 bodies and 45 wounded were taken to the nearby Red Cross field hospital.” The ICRC itself made this known on X. “Firing so dangerously close to humanitarian structures puts the lives of civilians and humanitarian workers at risk”, underlines the Committee.
