Lenka Limberská (40) together with her husband David Limberská (40) visited Fashion Night Brno, where she had her own show. The charming wife of a former professional footballer exuded a positive mood and beamed in all directions. But when, during an interview for eXtra.cz, her late friend Denisa Zajícová (†36), formerly known as Cziglova, was mentioned, laughter immediately gave way to sadness and tears.
Lenka Limberská is not only a loving wife and mother, but also a friend. When her good friend, amateur cook and MasterChef participant Denisa Zajícová (known under her maiden name as Cziglová), fell ill with cancer, it was she who stood by her side until the last moment.
To this day, she has not come to terms with the death of her close friend, whom she considered a younger sister. “It’s still a very painful topic for me, because Deniska was always a part of such events because she modeled. And last year she was part of Fashion Night Brno, so my stomach hurts and it’s all the more difficult,” Lenka confided to the eXtra.cz editors that she only speaks of Denis in superlatives.
Denisa loved life
“She was a great girl who loved life, had a lot of fun and didn’t want to leave this world, so I’m all the more sad that she can’t be here with us because I know she would have enjoyed it so much. I miss her here, but I know that somewhere up there she sees it and is happy that we are having success here with Beach Swan. Her mom is here with us in the front row, so I’m glad that at least she can be there instead of Deniska.” she stated, remembering absolutely everything from their last meeting before Denisa lost her valiant fight.
Towards the end she believed and hoped for more
Deniska believed until the last moment, that was beautiful. I believed too, but when I stopped believing, Deniska believed all the more. It’s such a paradox that she believed less when she was healthy, and then when it was coming to an end, she finally started to hope and believe that things would suddenly be good. And it wasn’t. It’s still very hard, we miss him a lot and he lives in our hearts all the time“, she stated, saying that they held her hand until the last moment.
