Ladies and gentlemen,
On May 31, the Federation launched several calls for applications, including that for the purposes of renewal of the Federal Steering Committee as part of the elective general meeting of November 23, 2024.
Indeed, following the adoption of the new statutes and internal regulations, in accordance with the Sports Law of March 2, 2022, the designation of the members of the Federal Steering Committee is now subject to several votes:
- 1 main ballot (general college) submitted to the vote of the Elective General Assembly designating 19 members of the Federal Steering Committee including the seat reserved for the doctor,
- 3 separate ballots during which 1 referee representative1 representative of the coaches and 1 representative of the scorers are each elected by their peers,
- 1 ballot, submitted to the vote of the members of the Federal Commission for high-level athletes, designating, among them, 2 representatives (1 woman and 1 man) to sit on the Federal Steering Committee and the Federal Office.

FAQ
- Can we apply as an individual?
Nonunder special colleges, applications are joint and must include 2 candidates : 1 full member and 1 substitute of the same sex.
- When will the candidates be known?
The Federal Commission for the Supervision of Electoral Operations will validate the candidates of the special colleges and distribute the list no later than October 11, 2024.
- How does the voting take place?
THE special college referees arbitrators (= arbitrators meeting the eligibility conditions) will vote electronically from November 12 to 23, 2024 for a joint application among the validated joint applications.
- How is the seat reserved for referees allocated?
The seat reserved for referees within the Federal Steering Committee is awarded to the elected incumbent candidate (= of the joint candidacy having obtained the majority of votes cast).
The alternate candidate associated with the elected incumbent candidate is intended to replace the latter in case of vacancy during his mandate.
