Rennes native Nicolas Bernardi will not be experiencing his first Olympic Games. The 21-year-old archer, ranked 45th in the world, was not selected among the six athletes (there were still eight) who will represent France in Paris.

The French selection will be made up of Lisa Barbelin (11th in the world, Archers Riomois), Amélie Cordeau (106th, 1st Arc Company of Annemasse) and Caroline Lopez (38th, Archers Riomois) among the women, and Baptiste Addis (17th, Arc Club de Nîmes), Thomas Chirault (16th, Archers Clermontois) and Jean-Charles Valladont (15th, Arc Club de Nîmes) among the men.
