Acqua S.Bernardo Pallacanestro Cantù announces that the athlete Riccardo Moraschini has undergone a series of specialist visits to evaluate the extent of the injury to his right knee, sustained during the playoff finals.
The tests, confirming the diagnosis of the first tests carried out in Trieste, highlighted a second-degree injury to the medial collateral ligament, excluding at the same time any involvement of the cruciate ligament.
Moraschini will undergo minimally invasive surgery on Wednesday to strengthen the affected ligament part. The recovery time for the player’s return to the field is estimated at approximately three months.
