The Piedmontese won with a personal best of 13:35.97, ahead of Pietro Riva (13:40.31) and Jacopo De Marchi (13:44.25).

100 HURDLES – Giada Carmassi roared an excellent 12.87 (0.4 m/s of tailwind) and became the fourth Italian ever, twelve hundredths of a second behind the national record held by Luminosa Bogliolo. Behind her were Elisa Maria Di Lazzaro (13.02) and Veronica Besana (13.08).

DISCUS THROW (WOMEN) – Here comes the counter performance you don’t expect: Daisy Osakuenational record holder and finalist at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, commits three invalids and closes the race without measure. The Piedmontese, already out of the final at the last European Championships, is not going through her best moment of form and will have to reverse the trend in view of the Paris 2024 Games. HAMMER THROW (MALE) – Marco Lingua won the title at the age of 46, confirming himself as an authentic highlander: eighteenth Italian championship in his career, nineteen seasons after his first success. The Piedmontese succeeded in the coup with a thrust of 69.66 meters placed in the last assault, thus managing to surpass Giorgio Olivieri by four centimeters (69.62), third Davide Costa (69.33).

JAVELIN SHOT (WOMEN) – Emanuela Casadei she won with a personal best of 56.49, getting the better of Adjimon Adanhoegbe (54.07) and Paola Padovan (53.74).

JAVELIN THROW (MEN) – Giovanni Frattini wins the race with a 75.40 meter shoulder, ahead of Roberto Orlando (74.53) and Simone Comini (74.38).

400 HURDLES (MEN) – Alessandro Sibilio controls the situation, saving himself a lot after winning the silver medal at the European Championships with the Italian record of 47.50. 800 METERS (WOMEN) – Eloisa Coiro signs the best time of the round (2:04.59) preceding Maria Colajanni (2:04.72) and Laura Pellicoro (2:04.76).

800 METERS (MEN) – Francesco Pernici sets the benchmark time (1:48.41), preceding Tommaso Maniscalco (1:48.43) and Giovanni Lazzaro (1:48.44), also ahead Simone Barontini con 1:49.74.

Marta Giale Giovannini excels after four trials in the heptathlon with 3,312 points ahead of Sara Chiaratti (3,244) and Alice Lunardoni (3,177).
