BASEBALL. After a long streak of eight defeats, the Rocket South Shore of Coaticook returned to victory on Friday evening, winning its match 16-4 against the ABC U16.
In Coaticook, ABC 16U tied the game in the 5th round, but the Rocket immediately regained their lead and then exploded with nine points in the next round.
Charles Rajotte and Jason Begin hit the long ball on the Coaticook side producing two and three points respectively. Félix Gosselin responded for the visitors with two hits. Elie Perrault is the winning pitcher while the loser will be Zachary Landreville.
The Rocket will be in action on Saturday (June 22), when they will receive a visit from the Saint-Eustache Bisons during a doubleheader, at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m., at Julien-Morin stadium.
