“Retirement has been great, everything has gone smoothly. I had a bit of bad luck with my knee. It was getting worse and worse, so I started to get the idea of what my life was going to be like once I retired, being more time at home and so on. I’m super happy, we have four fantastic children: two 10-year-old twins and two 14-year-old twins. We have been traveling all over the world, having a great time and, of course, helping them with school and also having fun. projects like this. “I always felt like my career could end with any injury, and it’s just tennis, I always tried to remind myself of that. Every time I won a match or tournament, I knew it could be my last. That mentality has helped me not be too worried about what would come after tennis. It has been a great transition. as it should be.”

“Get ready for a great life and a very pleasant journey, many times in the spotlight, under pressure, trying to save break balls and trying to say the right things on a red carpet or in a press conference, but you will have a great time.” Well, in a way, you’ll wish it was forever, but everything has an end. I’m glad I was able to last as long as I did in the public eye, under pressure, on the biggest tracks in the world. dream.
