Sacramento sends Euroleague MVP award winner Vezenkova over the border – Basketball – Sportacentrs.com

The first NBA season was not the brightest for 28-year-old Saš Vezenkov. The Bulgarian forward, who became a European superstar with Olympiacos, participated in 42 regular season games with the Sacramento Kings, scoring 5.4 points and 2.3 rebounds.

Along with 25-year-old American guard Davion Mitchell, who scored 5.3 points in 72 games last season, having his most modest season in his three years in the NBA, Vezenkov was traded to the Toronto Raptors. In exchange for both basketball players, Sacramento “Kings” acquired the rights to the 45th pick of this draft and 26-year-old Jalen McDaniels, who scored 3.4 points in 50 games played for the Canadian team.

The Atlanta Hawks, who drafted French basketball player Zachary Rissacher with the number one pick, have made room in the rotation for their future star by trading Ajay Griffin, who was selected in the first round of the draft two years ago, to the Houston Rockets. With this deal, the Hawks have acquired the right to select the 44th player in this year’s draft.

The Denver Nuggets traded Reggie Jackson to the Charlotte Hornets to clear cap space. The Nuggets gave up three second-round picks for North Carolina to accept Jackson’s contract.
