Sam Matavesi, who has just won the English Championship with Northampton on June 8 (25-21 against Bath), will return to the pitches of the Top 14, five years after his short stint in Toulouse as a medical joker.
A second line of experience
At 32, the Fijian international (31 caps) already has a solid track record in England, having been born in Truro, a medium-sized city in the United Kingdom. Matavesi won the Championship twice, in 2019 and then in 2024. With the Fiji national team, in which he made his first cap in 2013, he participated in two World Cups, the last of which in France.
