Sébastien Baué Awarded Black Belt After 12 Years of Dedication in Judo Club

Tuesday, at the dojo, the judo training session had a special flavor. Sébastien Baué was awarded his black belt, recognition of a dozen years of presence on the tatami mats.

“It all started in 2012. I regularly took my three eldest daughters to judo lessons. One evening I stayed to watch an adult screening. I felt attracted. I had just stopped smoking and was looking to play a sport. » His wife, a former judokate, encourages him in this path. “And it went like that. »

After obtaining the obligatory points in competition, passing the passages of his kata and his unit of technical value, “I got my black belt. I am even more proud that it is the last black belt awarded by our coach before his retirement from sport. »

Indeed, Bruno Chevalier has decided to retire as coach of the judo club. “I’ve been here for over thirty years! he exclaims. I obtained my state certificate in 1996, and, throughout this time, I have supervised the courses. »

Renaud Lechartier will take over at the start of the school year in September.
