While the Euro Cup is being played on German territory, the news was announced that the Serbian National Team would be taking seriously the option of abandoning the tournament due to serious accusations against the country, taking into account political issues.
It all started when in the match between Croatia and Albania, fans of the Albanian team began to chant against the Serbs where they chanted “kill the Serb.”

After hearing about these chants against the Serbian country, the general secretary of the Serbian Football Association, Jovan Surbatovic, confessed in the local media RTS that they are quite serious statements and that Uefa should sanction the Albanian federation for allowing these words.
“What happened is scandalous and we will ask UEFA for sanctions, even if that means not continuing in the competition. We will demand that Uefa sanction the federations of both teams. If Uefa does not punish them, we will think about how we will proceed,” said Surbatovic.
Faced with this novelty on the part of the Serbians, the European team was already fined 12,550 pounds in this Euro Cup, after in the duel against England some fans threw various objects onto the field of play that could affect the integrity of the players and spectators.
“They were sanctioned for isolated cases and our fans behaved much better than the others. A fan was punished for racist insults and we do not want it to be attributed to others. We Erbs are gentlemen and we have an open heart, so I ask the fans to continue being gentlemen,” he stated.
It is worth mentioning that both countries are in conflict and cannot face each other in any commitment by Uefa.
Now Serbia is preparing to face Slovenia for the second date of Group C of the Euro Cup, where the eagles are waiting for a ruling from Uefa to clarify these accusations that they are receiving against them.
