Seven Arrested in Comiso for Aggravated Brawl: Flying Squad Reports Freedom of Suspects

The Flying Squad agents of the Comiso police station reported in a state of freedom seven peoplefour Bangladeshis and three Italians, one of whom is of Tunisian origin, held responsible for the crime of aggravated brawl.

Upon reporting of an ongoing dispute received by the Operations Room from the managers, the police officers, supported by other police station personnel, intervened in a mini-market located near Corso Vittorio Emanuele.

Once on site, the managers of the mini-market they reported to the Agents that they had been attacked for trivial reasons by three subjects known to them. After a few minutes, however, the three subjects returned to the mini-market and, at the sight of the Agents, they in turn reported having been attacked with a baseball bat.

The policemen then began investigations and, during the judicial police investigation activities, a Bangladeshi citizen was found in possession of a knife hidden in the pocket of his trousers and one baseball bat hidden in the car parked in the immediate vicinity. While, in the streets surrounding the mini-market, one was found aluminum gutter, probably used for the attack.

What was found was seized and all the protagonists of the affair were accompanied to the office to be identified and for further investigation of the case.

From the investigation activity and in particular from the analysis of the images of the video surveillance systems in the area, the Agents were able to reconstruct the dynamics of the facts, clarifying the dispute and therefore referring the seven subjects, held responsible in various capacities for the crime of aggravated brawl, to the competent judicial authority. Between them even the market managers themselves.
