Seven Home Runs Hit in Cleveland’s Progressive Field as Guardians Defeat Blue Jays 6-3

Fans in the outfield stands at Cleveland’s Progressive Field had incredible luck as seven home runs were hit in Saturday’s game between the Guardians and the Toronto Blue Jays.

In fact, all nine runs in the game were scored on home runs. It was the local favorites who had the upper hand to win 6-3.

The Jays opened the ball in the second inning with Davis Schneider’s 10th shot, a solo shot, but Bo Naylor automatically responded with two runs on the board.

The lead was reduced by Isiah Kiner-Falefa in the next at-bat, except Jose Ramirez put the Guardians ahead for good with his 19th homer, for two runs.

Kiner-Falefa stretched his arms again in the eighth inning; and Steven Kwan and Daniel Schneemann also knocked balls out of bounds for Cleveland. Kwan is on fire this season with an incredible batting average of .390.

The Blue Jays have now lost five straight games, having been swept by the Boston Red Sox earlier in the week. The last duel of their series in Ohio will take place Sunday, before a trip to the Sox.
