With the collaboration of the Department of Sports directed by Marcos Martínez, from June 6 to 9, the “Spanish junior international U19” badminton competition will be held at the facilities of the Municipal Pavilion of El Campello.
The competition is included in the events of the Badminton Europe circuit and the Badminton World Federation (BWF), since it is classified as a junior international series, scoring towards the European and world ranking of the junior category (U19).
The modalities of men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles will be played, with the following schedules:
-Thursday, June 6, from 9:30 a.m.: R64 MS, WS & XD + R32 MD & WD.
Friday, June 7: from 9:30 a.m.: R32 MS, WS & XD + all R16 + all QF.
Saturday, June 8: from 9:00 a.m.: semi-finals and finals.
The best national badminton players in the junior category in Europe participate in this test. The participation of Spanish athletes from different CTD and clubs and delegations from Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Falkland Islands, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Switzerland, Sweden and Wales, along with a delegation from the United Arab Emirates, Chinese Taipei, Pakistan, Malaysia and India.
The event can be followed streaming on 5 competition courts through the Badminton Spain YouTube channel.
