As announced by the Team in January, the Rugby Club Toulonnais announced, this Tuesday, the return of Mickaël Ivaldi to its squad for the 2024/2025 season. The 34-year-old hooker, who had already worn the Toulon colors at the start of his career (2004-2013), is signing up for a year with the Varois.
Trained in La Seyne-sur-Mer, where he was born, then in Toulon, Ivaldi continued his career in Montpellier (2013-2016), Lyon (2016-2022) then at Stade Français, where he spent the last two seasons for a total of 47 matches (40 starts) with the Pink Soldiers and a semi-final reached this year.
With more than 300 matches played in the elite of French rugby, the hooker will bring his experience to the RCT which is pleased to “repatriate “home” a player who embodies the values of combat and self-sacrifice”.
