In the men’s category, 14 of the 21 strongest players according to the ÖTV rankings are represented – including Davis Cup aces Jurij Rodionov (ATP 154), Filip Misolic (ATP 182) and Gerald Melzer (ATP 548), as well as two-time defending champion Lukas Neumayer (ATP 240), youngster Joel Schwärzler (ATP 390), local hero David Pichler (ATP 589) and many more. In the women’s category, seven of the best nine and 14 of the best 20 are even taking part. The two Billie Jean King Cup national team players Julia Grabher (WTA 309) and Tamara Kostic (WTA 518) are considered to be the big hunted ones.
Tennis fans will once again be treated to an extensive range of live broadcasts at the 2024 flagship event in Austria. Not only has ORF SPORT+ planned a total of around 30 hours of live programming from Thursday (July 4): All matches on the center court and on courts 3, 4 and 5 in Oberpullendorf will again be shown live on ÖTV TV, at www.oetv.tv. And this will be available from the first day of qualification on June 29.
