On Friday evening, the Stuttgart Reds failed to snatch victory from the Guggenberger Legionnaires after a brilliant comeback, losing 7:9. But on Saturday afternoon, they managed to win the second encounter, leaving the field 3:2 victorious.
The Upper Palatinate team was in the lead again, this time 2-0. Devon Ramirez scored the first run in the opening inning after a hit by Terrel Joyce, and Alexander Schmidt followed up with a 2-0 lead in the third inning on a single by Antonios Torres.
In the sixth inning, the fighting spirit of the Swabians awoke: The strong Austin Bull (3 H, 1 RBI, 2 R, 2 SB) scored the first run for Stuttgart after a hit by Moritz Köhler.
