On Friday evening, the Stuttgart Reds failed to snatch victory from the Guggenberger Legionnaires after a brilliant comeback, losing 7:9. But on Saturday afternoon, they managed to win the second encounter, leaving the field 3:2 victorious.

The Upper Palatinate team was in the lead again, this time 2-0. Devon Ramirez scored the first run in the opening inning after a hit by Terrel Joyce, and Alexander Schmidt followed up with a 2-0 lead in the third inning on a single by Antonios Torres.

In the sixth inning, the fighting spirit of the Swabians awoke: The strong Austin Bull (3 H, 1 RBI, 2 R, 2 SB) scored the first run for Stuttgart after a hit by Moritz Köhler. In the following inning, Yannick Witt equalized after a hit by Bull. Moritz van Bergen then pushed Bull over the plate in the ninth inning to make it 2:3.

The home team fought against the impending defeat and filled the bases once again, but the Reds managed to get the third out at home plate. Reds starting pitcher Yaferson Lopez also played a key role in the victory, allowing only two Regensburg runs, six hits and one walk in seven innings and throwing seven strikeouts. However, the win went to substitute Eduardo Peluso (2 IP, 1 H, 3 BB, 1 K).

Joe Cedano de Leon (2 IP, 1 R, 3 H, 4 K) suffered the loss for Regensburg. Kieran Lovegrove (6 IP, 1 R, 4 H, 2 BB, 5 K) started the match and had the Reds offense well under control, before being replaced by Lou Helmig (1 IP, 1 R, 1 H, 2 BB, 3 K) in the seventh inning.
