Intense weekend in the world of archery in the region, in fact in the town of Cinquefrondi the local sports club assigned by the regional committee organized the 2024 regional plaque championship on Sunday 23 June.
At the sporting event the Arcieri Club Lido company, under the guidance of the mister Edoardo Poerio Piterà brought 5 athletes to the shooting line who at the end of the competition took home two overall and three individual titles.
In the men’s Olympics the overall title of the specialty goes to Francesco Poerio Piterà who also takes home the gold in the junior competition class, same script in the compound where Anastasia Poerio Piterà wins the overall and takes gold in his race class.
Gold also for the very young girl Fabio Ludovica in the Girls class compound division, followed by the individual bronze of Poerio Piterà Edoardo surprisingly in the Olympic division master plaque being the same archers predominantly barebow. He asks at the foot of the podium Valentino Serafino with an excellent 4th place.
The team had technical support during the trip from Gulia Sabrinawhile among the companions Sgotto Maurizio and Sgotto Sofia they cheered on the team during the race stages.
The coach is satisfied Poerio Pierà Edoardo of the boys’ performance, “Francesco Poerio Piterà, despite his school commitments, being busy with his final exams, found the time necessary to be able to carry out a few but intense training sessions, the same goes for the young Anastasia Poerio Piterà and Fabio Ludovica. The boys had fun despite the heat supported by our valid companions, whom I thank for their availability always shown. With the occasion of the regional championship we had as supporters our new members Maurizio and Sofia Sgotto with the hope of seeing them soon engaged in a sports competition too”.
