This year too we completed the sports solidarity day. A proper thank you goes to all the participants. To the boys of Sport 21 of Palermo, to the master Patania of Messina and responsible for Csen and to all our boys present. Of course, many were absent and I was very disappointed because those who had serious problems or school exams should be understood but the others were not, apart from the lack of respect towards me. The lack of respect towards their children is evident: after having worked so hard in the gym they deserved to be compared with others to acquire the necessary confidence that only comparison with others can give.
Furthermore, someone from Palermo had telephoned Maestro Patania and ordered him not to come to the demonstration in Lipari. I tell these individuals (because they have very little personally) that sport belongs to the kids who do it and they should have fun practicing it. Nothing else matters . Despite everything, I’m happy with how the event went; the happiness of the kids present repaid me for everything.
Another dutiful thanks goes to the social services councilor of Lipari. Dr. Cristina Roccella, always present at the demonstrations and the deputy mayor of Lipari, Saverio Merlino, involved in institutional activities. I also wanted to thank all the sponsors who contributed to the success of the event.
