The president, Henri Goguet-Chapuis, first thanked the town hall for its material and financial assistance, the parent volunteers for their presence and support during the various events, Jean-Michel Rivière, the teacher, for his commitment to the judokas and the sponsors who support the club.
A kimono in club colors
The club is doing well, 48 members were registered for judo this year 2023-2024 with the new addition of adult beginners. This attendance will undoubtedly be renewed for 2024-2025. The president said he was proud of these young people who are competing (in Revel, Narbonne, Bram and Saint-Orens) with interesting sporting results including at the regional level. From the start of the 2024 school year, a new kimono will be loaned (against a deposit check) with the club logo.
The implementation of the club’s internal regulations was unanimously approved. Two points are essential: the child registering for judo must not have any medical contraindication (supporting medical certificate) and the annual contribution, even in installments, must be deposited upon registration.
Finally, the resigning office was unanimously re-elected. The presentation of the new ranks and belts concluded this general assembly.
